Green Gram (Moong)
Scientific Name: Vigna radiata
Green gram has been used for centuries in traditional Indian bathing powders and ubtan formulations. When finely milled, it provides gentle physical exfoliation that helps remove surface impurities and dead skin cells without being overly abrasive. The legume also contains proteins, amino acids and phytonutrients that contribute to its skin-conditioning profile. In soap making, green gram supports a smoother skin feel and adds an element of traditional botanical care. We use it to bring together gentle exfoliation, cleansing effectiveness and the heritage of time-tested bathing practices.
